Job Description


Directs the overall financial plans and accounting practices of the company. Oversees treasury, accounting & reporting, budget, forecasting, cost control, tax and audit activities of the organization and subsidiaries. Oversees financial and accounting system controls and standards, ensures timely, accurate, and complete financial and management reporting and compliance with local regulations and group standards.

Analyzes and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve financial performance.

Participates as member of the operating entities management team in the overall management of the company and actively manages the local accounting and reporting team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the definition of the business financial policy

  • To ensure that the organization and its subsidiaries comply with the Group’s financial standards and that staff and management fully understand the Group’s financial culture

  • Timely, accurate and complete monthly US GAAP group reporting and financial forecasting

  • SOX compliance

  • Enhancement of overall control environment

  • Tax reporting & filing

  • Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation

  • Update and implement financial policies and procedures

  • Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth

  • Lead and develop finance teams

  • Oversees all business processes and is able to recommend improvements

  • Management of local and remote financial teams

  • Participate in the overall management of the company as member of the operating entities’ management team


Professional background

  • Academic degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field (CPA, MSc)

  • 10-15 years of experience in a similar position

  • Experience in US owned companies

  • Experience in working in matrix structures

  • Experience in US companies reporting cadence

  • Anglo-Saxon finance orientation

  • In-depth US GAAP & local tax knowledge

  • SOX knowledge and experience

  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Fluency in French and English language is a requirement

  • Advanced MS Office user skills

  • ERP experience: SAP

  • Reporting Tool experience: Hyperion
