Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions to customers in more than 70 countries. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain, Columbus and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, merchandise display cases and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Kysor/Warren and InterLink.
Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.
This recruiter must sit in the Tifton, GA location
Under direct supervision, this recruiter will perform activities associated with recruiting and employment of new employees.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including manager intake meetings, design and placement of internal and external advertisements; sourcing and networking with candidates; pre-screening resumes, phone screens, background checks, creating and delivering offers; and on boarding new hires.
Building a pool of passive and active candidates for hourly manufacturing positions. Activities to support pipeline development and successful hires may include a variety of sourcing efforts such as cold calling, active networking, employee referrals, social media, strategic advertising, community partnerships, career events, etc.
Partner with department hiring managers to develop and implement staffing strategies. Helps managers understand staffing needs based on production forecasts and the use of the variety of staffing options (full time, part time, agency support, etc.).
Coach hiring managers on best practice talent acquisition processes including interview questions, recruiting processes, networking, use of related systems, affirmative action, employment law, etc. regarding new hires, on-boarding, etc.
Utilize social media and job boards, along with other various recruitment methods, to drive candidate interest and establish high volume pipelines for current and future opportunities. Work to establish and promote “employment branding” through a variety of methods including company website, social media, print materials, etc.
Partner with external staffing agencies as needed to identify and recruit candidates.
Proactively identify and analyze market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies.
Nurture relationships with prospective candidates/sources to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events.
Representing company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.
Provide data, analysis, and information for organizational strategic planning.
Research competitors and stay abreast of the current market trends as they relate to both recruitment and total rewards.
Maintain and promoting an employee referral program to drive candidate referrals.
Maintain accurate records in recruitment system.
Establish and grow business relationships with employment agencies, other recruiters in and outside of the manufacturing industry, and managers to ensure company utilizes the optimal solution to its recruiting needs.
Understand the labor market for each area in which we recruit and the most effective means of drawing top talent, including make recommendations and changes (with their span of control) as to what Heatcraft needs to do/be to increase our attractiveness to the labor market.
Track, completion, and communication of Affirmative Action Program and EEO goals and reports.
Ensuring appropriate information is tracked, recorded, and easily parsed as needed to complete these reports.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in related experience.
Minimum 2 years talent acquisition experience.
Strong experience recruiting hourly talent in manufacturing environment preferred.
In-depth knowledge of candidate selection methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to recognize an utilize ways to improve work flow efficiency.
Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes.
Knowledge of employment law and regulations especially as they pertain to hiring.
Knowledge of behavioral/situational interviewing techniques.
Hands on experience with iCims preferred.
Experience using various social media platforms to source candidates and build employer brand.
General knowledge of general HR policies and procedures including employee relations, compensation, benefits and EEO/AAP administration.
Ability to analyze and prepare reports regarding employee and industry related data.
Outstanding communications (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and able to interact successfully with a wide variety of applicants and employees.
