Job Description

In addition to recording and maintaining control of all inventory items purchased and produced, this clerk/lead may provide training and work direction to other inventory control clerks.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Compile records from ordering, shipping and receiving materials.

  • Update information on the computer to maintain inventory records.

  • Assess stock supply and reorder status.

  • Prepare and verify the requisition of additional stock items using the appropriate forms or systems.

  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.

  • SAP and extensive computer experience is required

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

Must be able to follow procedures and train others. Requires accurate and efficient record keeping and verification of inventory changes. Knows inventory processes and procedures. May require the ability to train and direct the work of others.
