Instructs, directs, and checks the work of a team of business solutions architects.
Oversees formulation and definition of systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
Provides oversight and execution to insure business systems are efficiently supporting business processes on a day-to-day basis.
Engages with business personnel to continually evaluate alignment of business processes and supporting systems. Initiates and leads short and long term process improvement initiatives.
Serves as a liaison between the business and IT for initiating and assisting in development of business systems. Interviews and makes recommendations for additional staff.
Assigns work to subordinates, monitors performance, and conducts performance appraisals.
Participates in IT financial management activities including annual budgeting cycle, project estimating, capital approval process, project budget oversight, and resource time tracking.
May be responsible for multi-year planning to determine broad direction, prioritize projects and evaluate ROI within a functional sub-area.
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience.
Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP modules:
Financial Management – (AP, AR, GL and AM) - SAP FI Configuration expertise in General Ledger / New GL, A/R, A/P, Bank File Processing, Cost Elements, Profit Centers, Orders, Fixed Assets and other facets of the FI and CO modules
Effectively understand and communicate the implications of business process decisions and their implementation in a global SAP environment
Ability to drive blueprint workshops and communicate directly with business users
Experience in managing SAP implementation projects- requirement gathering, scoping, estimation, staffing.
Possesses full technical knowledge of systems analysis and has deep knowledge of the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Must be able to communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to advise subordinates in order to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.
