A Lennox IT intern role may include participation in:
Enterprise IT solutions design and development – applications, databases, infrastructure
Evaluation of new technology
Operations initiatives and support of enterprise IT solutions
Analysis of business data and processes
Managing a project
Coursework and/or demonstrated interest in one or more of the following:
eCommerce, web, and mobile technology
Augmented / virtual reality
Business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning
Cloud computing concepts (virtualization and software defined infrastructure)
Internet of Things – connected devices
IT infrastructure design and management (storage, compute, and network)
Cyber Security concepts
Supply Chain & Manufacturing
Demonstrate an interest in learning formal IT development and support practices and methodologies
Proficient use of PC applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Basic programming and analysis skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Excellent collaboration and teaming skills
Ability to quickly learn and contribute to IT initiatives
Self-driven, results oriented
BS or MS student in Computer Science, IT or MIS academic program at an accredited four year University, with min 3.0 GPA.
Educational or vocational experience in project management and software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
