Job Description

Responsibilities:

Implementation & Customization Experience in Service Now on All the Modules including but not limited to

Project Management,

SDLC,

Demand Management,

Asset Management,

Incident Management,

Problem Management,

Change Management,

Knowledge Management,

Configuration Management,

Service Request Catalogue,

Discovery

Primary Functions:

  • Should have experience in Requirement gathering and created requirement specification document based on inputs from the clients and process team.

  • Should have strong understanding of ServiceNow’s standard capabilities.

  • Ability to map requirements with the standard functionality with minimum to nil customization.

  • Should understand Technical feasibility to be able to interact and work with developers to accomplish the plan

  • Should have worked on servicenow upgrades – performed relevant tests

  • Knowledge on Process design of various modules – Project Management, Demand Management, SDLC, Asset Management, Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, Service Desk, Reports, CMDB, SLM and Knowledge.

  • Writing functional specifications for various ServiceNow modules.

  • Implementation of various modules – Project Management, Demand Management, SDLC, Asset Management, Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, Service Desk, Reports, CMDB, SLM and Knowledge.

  • Provide training for fresher’s and other team members on ServiceNow implementation

  • Involved in Unit testing.

  • Complete ownership of the module (bug fixing).

  • Researches, reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of procedures, and develops strategies for enhancing these processes in accordance with ITIL best practices to enable continuous improvement.

  • Experience in designing the end-to-end solutions like Integrations with ServiceNow.

  • Experience in Administering, Supporting Production Instances, Maintaining Lower Life Cycle Instances and Customizing the ServiceNow application for user requirements.

  • Experience in Discovery/CMDB

  • Experience in Asset management Modules

  • General understanding of ITIL.Key Deliverables:

  • Demonstrate your extensive experience as a Servicenow developer.

  • Will make decisions for the implementation of solutions that will have real impact on the business.

  • Research and staying abreast of current technology trends.

  • Making break fix related changes.

  • Oversee problem isolation, issue resolution, and escalation management according to pre-defined protocols.

  • Maintain communication with functional managers and executive management to ensure issues are resolvedDesired Profile of the candidate:

  • Overall 8+ years of experience

  • Minimum of 8 years in Servicenow

  • Should have experience with key modules like

Project Management,

Demand Management,

Asset Management,

Incident Management,

Service Request Catalogue,

Discovery

  • Should have experience in various integrations

Qualifications

Technical Skill:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation specialist

Required Skill Set:

Need to Have:

Servicenow , ITIL, Solid understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and functionalities.

Expertise in implementing servicenow standard modules for organization needs .

Nice to Have:

JavaScript, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, Jelly Scripting, Web services
